For Stuffed Figs with Olive Oil
500 g dried figs
100 g rice
1/2 cup olive oil
1 dried onion
2 tablespoons ground peanuts
A pinch of cinnamon
Allspice
Black pepper
Salt
Lemon
Olive oil
1 - Boil the water in a saucepan. Throw the figs in, take them out before they soften too much and let them cool.
2 - In another pan, fry the diced onions with olive oil. Add rice, pine nuts and all other spices, add the water and cook.
3 - When the rice is cooked, take it off the stove and let it rest for a while.
4 - Make a very thin cut to the bottom of the figs and put the rice inside.
5 - Arrange the stuffed figs on the serving plate and serve with cold lemon.
